Sanitation Collector/Driver

The City of Ellis is accepting applications for the position of a Sanitation Collector/Driver with the Ellis Public Works Department.  Primary duties include trash collection, driving refuse trucks, delivering refuse to landfill/transfer station, assisting with recycling operation, and other duties as assigned.

Position requires a valid class B CDL within 30 days of employment.  The successful applicant must be able to lift and carry heavy loads. Residency required with a physical Ellis address after 60 days of employment.  Drug/alcohol testing required after provisional offer of employment.
