The City of Ellis
Public
Works Department oversees recycling, sanitation, water, sewer,
streets, building permits, zoning, flood control, water
and sewer repairs. The department also takes care of
the Mt Hope Cemetery, a 15 space campground, swimming pool maintenance
and 8 parks within the city limits. The department employees 8
full time personnel and 2 additional seasonal during the
summer. Concerns or Issues regarding any of these
areas should be reported the the Public works Department during
regular hours (Monday through Friday
8-5).
