The Ellis Police Dept. has five full-time police officers positions and recently added a part-time interim officer. Present officers are Police Chief Randy S. Taylor, Police Sgt. Glenn Lacy, Patrolmen Kenneth Wright, Kristin Krajewski & Christopher Decou and Part Time Officer Taft Yates. The Ellis Police Department strives to maintain a safe environment for the residents of the City of Ellis and to all who may visit our community, by enforcing Federal, State and Municipal laws and ordinances. Aside from enforcing laws, the Ellis Police Department prides itself in being a community oriented agency, working towards good public relations, and public trust.
