Ellis, Kansas Police Department
The Ellis Police Department is fully staffed with five full-time police officers positions and a part-time officer. The department provides 24 hour coverage/365 days per year.
Present officers are Police Chief Randy S. Taylor, Police Sgt. Donald A. Wood, Officer Kristin Krajewski, and Part Time Officer Taft Yates. These public servants work along with newly hired officers Michael Averette and Gabriel Smull.
The Ellis Police Department strives to maintain a safe environment for the residents of the City of Ellis and to all who may visit our community, by enforcing Federal, State and Municipal laws and ordinances. Aside from enforcing laws, the Ellis Police Department prides itself in being a community oriented agency, working towards good public relations, and public trust.
We especially invite visitors to visit our new hotel or to stay at our Lakeside Campground.
